Here are a few video links about composting that I made.
Nothing beats compost for feeding your plants. Take all your kitchen scraps (vegetable and fruit peels, egg shells, no meat though), grass clippings, dried leaves etc and mix them into a pile in the corner of your yard.
Keep adding new material on top and turn the compost with a shovel once or twice a week.
